The first step is the leader, one without compare,

The second step is the gunner, with many secrets to share.

The third step is watching, waiting for the fall,

Step four is intelligence that surpasses all.

Step five is the earth, dependable and strong,

Step six is a mystery that is always read wrong.

Number seven is loyal, he follows every word,

Number eight is arrogance, him against the world.

Step nine is for the good times, a well placed smile,

Step ten is tricky, the game lasts a while.

Step eleven is not what he seems; don’t be taken for a fool,

Step twelve is violent, quick striking and cruel.

The last step is the key, the one that mends the rifts,
But all he wants is an answer to why he exists.
